Website Design for
Lois Parish-Evans (LPE) Designs
When Lois was referred to me, she already had an existing website. However, after spending time getting to know her and discovering the extraordinary depth and diversity of her work, it quickly became apparent that her current website was not doing justice to her talent, achievements, or extensive body of work.
This became one of my favourite website projects to work on, largely because of the collaborative process between Lois and myself. Together, we reimagined how her work could be presented online, creating a website that not only showcases her artwork but also tells the stories behind it. Given the breadth of her creative practice, we developed a clear structure that categorised her work into Textile Art/Art Quilts, Mixed Media, and Surface Pattern Design, allowing visitors to easily explore each area of expertise.
As an internationally recognised textile artist and designer, Lois has exhibited work around the world and received numerous awards. It was important that the website celebrated these achievements while also highlighting the rich narratives that inspire many of her pieces. Through carefully curated "Featured Projects," visitors can explore both the artwork and the stories behind its creation, creating a more meaningful and engaging experience.
Over time, the website has continued to evolve, with the addition of Events, Workshops, and a Blog, transforming it into a comprehensive showcase of Lois's work, achievements, and ongoing creative journey.
The result is a visually rich, content-driven website that reflects the professionalism, artistry, and storytelling at the heart of the LPE Designs brand.
